Leading branded beverage company wanted to integrate its foodservice juice division into the corporate foodservice group.

We developed an integration plan that combined the expertise from each group. We managed the execution of the plan, which resulted in a savings of $10 million annually and created a defensive position against an aggressive competitor.

The leading frozen yogurt mix supplier to independent yogurt shops was experiencing its core business growth slowing as the category was growing and evolving into regional & national chains.

We plotted the category evolution to packaged frozen yogurt and developed a strategy to enter the company into packaged frozen yogurt that leveraged the brand equity in its mix business. We developed a product strategy that resulted in the market introduction of the “Ben & Jerry’s” of frozen yogurt in the first year, a “Shoppe style” that leveraged the yogurt shop equities of light, smooth, and airy introduced in the 2nd year, and a “slender scoops” that addressed consumers concerns over fat and sugar content in the 3rd year. We managed the business from initial test market through to national distribution, enabling the sale to General Mills.

The leading orange juice sold in dispensers in the restaurant industry wanted to spin off its equipment division to focus on its private label juice business.

We positioned the business for profitable sale by aligning costs with revenues, matching people with appropriate job responsibilities, and implementing a sales strategy geared to revenue enhancement. The business was successfully sold within 12 months of the project being initiated.
